WordPress

Paste the widget (recommended)

1. Open the page, or the product if you run WooCommerce, in the block editor.
2. Click where the widget should go, then click the + Block Inserter and choose Custom HTML. You can also type /html in an empty paragraph and press Enter.
3. Paste your widget code into the block.
4. Click Save or Update, then open the page to check it.

The widget code includes a script, so the block needs an Editor or Administrator account. On a Contributor account, WordPress removes the script when the page is saved.

Or use a Buttons block with your link

1. Add a Buttons block (type /buttons) and type Apply for financing.
2. Click the Link icon, paste https://www.fivewestfinancial.com/apply.html, and turn on Open in new tab in the link options.
3. In the sidebar’s Styles tab, under Color, set Background to #1B365D and Text to #FFFFFF.

Elementor and other page builders

Drag an HTML widget where the widget should go and paste the code. Or use a Button widget: enter the text, paste your link, click the gear icon next to the link and check Open in new window, then set the background color on the Style tab. Divi, Beaver Builder, and similar builders have the same two options.

WooCommerce: every product page at once

On a block theme, go to Appearance → Editor → Templates → Single Product, add a Custom HTML block right below the Add to Cart block, paste the widget code, and save. On a classic theme, have your developer add this to the theme’s functions file or a code snippets plugin. It adds the widget under the Add to Cart button on every product, and the payment estimate opens with that product’s price:

Shopify

Under the Buy buttons on every product page

1. In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes and click Customize.
2. From the page selector at the top of the editor, choose Products → Default product.
3. In the Product information section, click Add block and choose Custom Liquid.
4. Paste the code below into the Custom Liquid box.
5. Drag the block so it sits right under Buy buttons, then click Save.

This version adds the product’s price, so the payment estimate opens with it filled in. If your theme doesn’t offer Custom Liquid under Add block, look under Add section, or ask your theme developer. Most current Shopify themes, including Dawn and Horizon, include it.

A financing link in your main menu

1. Go to Content → Menus and open your main menu.
2. Click Add menu item and name it Financing.
3. Click Search or paste a link, paste https://www.fivewestfinancial.com/apply.html, and select it from the dropdown. Pressing Enter without selecting it can leave the link blank.
4. Click Add, then Save.

Wix

Paste the widget

1. In the Wix Editor, click Add Elements → Embed Code → Embed HTML.
2. Click Enter Code, choose Code, paste your widget code, and click Update.
3. Drag the element’s handles until the whole widget shows: about 480 × 460 pixels for this widget.
4. Check it in Preview on desktop and mobile, then Publish.

Or use a Wix button with your link

1. Click Add Elements → Button, then Change Text and type Apply for financing.
2. Click the Link icon, choose Web Address, paste https://www.fivewestfinancial.com/apply.html, select New Window, and click Done.
3. Click the Design icon, then Customize Design, and set the background fill to #1B365D and the text color to #FFFFFF.

Wix Studio and Wix’s newer editors name some panels differently, but both routes work the same way.

Squarespace

1. Edit the page, hover over the section, and click Add block (or +), then choose Code.
2. Click the pencil icon, make sure the code type is set to HTML, paste your widget code, and save the page.

Code blocks run scripts on the Core plan and higher. On other plans, use a Button block with your link instead.

1. Click Add block → Button, click the pencil icon, and type Apply for financing in the Text field.
2. Click attach link, paste https://www.fivewestfinancial.com/apply.html under URL, and turn on Open link in new tab.
3. Save the page. Squarespace sets button colors for the whole site, under the paintbrush icon → Colors.

GoDaddy Website Builder

Paste the widget

1. In your GoDaddy account, open Websites + Marketing, click Manage next to your site, then Edit Website.
2. Go to the page and add a section where the widget should appear. Search for HTML, select it, and click Add.
3. Paste your widget code into the Custom Code field. Leave Forced Height blank so the section sizes itself.
4. Click Preview, then publish.

Or use a button with your link

Open a section with a button and change its text to Apply for financing (GoDaddy recommends 25 characters or fewer). Under Link, choose Website URL from the Link to menu and paste https://www.fivewestfinancial.com/apply.html. GoDaddy opens website URLs in a new tab and styles the button from your theme.

Webflow

Paste the widget

1. Open the Add panel and drag a Code Embed element where the widget should go.
2. Paste your widget code, click Save & Close, and publish your site.

Drag a Button onto the canvas and type Apply for financing. In Element settings → Link settings, paste https://www.fivewestfinancial.com/apply.html and check Open in a new tab. In the Style panel, set Backgrounds to #1B365D and the Typography color to #FFFFFF.

Dealer website providers

Many equipment dealers run their sites on a dealer platform, such as Dealer Spike or Machinio, that manages the page templates for you. The fastest route is to send your provider the code and tell them where it goes.

1. Build your widget above.
2. Click Email it to my web person. It opens an email with the code, your link, and where to put it already written.
3. Ask them to add it next to the price on every unit page, and to add a Financing link to your main menu.
4. If your site already has a built-in credit application, ask them to point its Apply for financing button at your Five West link, so applications come to Five West directly instead of landing in your inbox for someone to re-key.

Any other site

1. Open the page, or the product page template, in your editor or content system.
2. Paste the code where the widget should appear. On product pages, that is right after the price or your quote button.
3. Save and publish, clear any site cache, and check the page on a phone.
